Last week we took a closer look at my favorite suits on the ongoing winter sale. Today it is time for the next part where I will pick my ten favorite jackets from different online shops.
The first part where I posted my favorites suits from the sale can be found here. The sale has been ongoing for a while so these products that I will share will not last for long, so do not wait too long to buy them if you find something interesting.
We continue to look at the winter sale that are ongoing in online stores around the world. I will make three parts for this series, where the first part will be my ten favorite suits that you will be able to find on the ongoing sale.
Last week we talked about my thoughts and experience, and what you can do to make the most out of the sales periods. Try to focus on products that you will be able to use for a long time instead of seasonal ones that are based on current trends. A good point of advice is to find garments with subtle colors and textures. Instead of buying that colorful suit with a large windowpane pattern, try to find a suit with colors such as navy, chocolate brown, camel, dark grey or forest green.
To help you on the way I have picked ten of my favorite suits that you will be able use for many years to come.
You have probably noticed that I like subtle colors, and this is because that I think true elegance is shown when you master to combine these colors. And don’t get me wrong, I do like colors but I would personally prefer them as a detail, for example by wearing accessories such as the tie or pocket square. A subtle color that I have started to admire lately is brown, and gladly in different shades of brown combined with each other. This is what I call brown elegance.

Blue and grey is a great combination for the upcoming fall and winter. A well used combination is to combine a darker grey with a shade of blue, but I would like to show that the lighter grey also has a place in the wardrobe. It is a refreshing look that will make you stand out in these dark times.
We continue to get inspired by people that I have met during my journeys. During my second trip to the fashion fair Pitti Uomo in 2014, I met the mysterious menswear enthusiasm from Sweden who’s never shown his face on Instagram. Many people know him as Gusvs9, a travelling businessman with probably one of the sharpest outfits in menswear. He’s often seen wearing bespoke clothing from tailors such as Liverano & Liverano and Sartoria Corcos, and Saint Crispin’s for his feet. Can it get any better than this when it comes to rocking sport coats and suits? I think not.
The shirt is one of the most important staple pieces in your wardrobe. Today there is more shirt models than ever available to choose from, whether it is a dressed or casual option. One of these is the shirt with the mandarin collar, a short unfolded collar that’s stands out from the other ones. The unfolded collar makes it very casual and makes it easy to wear to almost everything.
Vacation time has officially began and it feels like half of the working population is on vacation in Sweden. Vacation means that a lot of the time will be spent on the beach to cool yourself during the hot summer days. Today’s inspiration shows that you still can be stylish on the beach with accessories such as the tote bag and Panama hat.
Today’s inspiration is about the gentleman who’s taking a stroll in the city. The weather is nearly perfect with the sun shining against your sunglasses, having an Italian espresso and just enjoying life (credits to Eidos Napoli for header).
