Soon the winter is here and a beanie, hat or cap is must to stay warm during the colder days. Today we will take a look at a few of my favorites for the season, from brands such as British Drake’s and Norwegian Berg & Berg.
Wearing any kind of headwear is without any doubt one of the biggest watersheds among men. I think the most common reason not wearing them is because that it feels like you do not have any hair, and this combined with a pale skin is hard for people to get used to. But at the same time, when the temperatures are dropping down below -10 C it is nearly a must to wear something on the head, especially here in Sweden because of the our windy climate.
First of all, start of choosing a beanie that will have the right proportions and color. By doing this, it will help you feel and look better as some colors will make your skin less pale. If you are unsure about choice of color I would start off with navy, dark grey or forest green as these are the easiest color to carry and match with your winter wardrobe.
A fabric that continues to be popular is the Donegal tweed. Donegal is a tweed that has colorful irregularities knit into the fabric and can found in both wool and cashmere options. When it comes to models, the so called watch cap with the classic docker-style trim is still one of the popular choices. I have carefully chosen some of my favorites for the season, which one is your favorite?
