After a successful release of the debut collection, The Passport Collection, the young and talented Christian Kimber continues to deliver interesting shoes and accessories for his second collection. Will the Federation Collection be a worthy successor to the first collection?
For this spring and summer collection, Christian is inspired by the architecture and colors of Federation square buildings in Melbourne. The model Tre Samuels takes place in front of the camera that are shot by Jason Paparoulas in the square itself. Both Tre and Jason delivers a fantastic view of the collection, where they are able to show the products in its right urban environment.
For the collection itself, we are able to find Christian’s famous pocket squares and sneakers, both also new products such as the lapel pin that are designed in collaboration with Sara Gelfgren. The colors focus on different shades of blue, grey and white, which are colors that is easy to wear and combine.
After the first collection, Christian Kimber started to collaborate with Eidos Napoli with the humble Creative Director Antonio Ciongoli. These two visionaries have continued to collaborate since, and are now able to present a second collection together. This partnership belongs to my favorite collection that are made as these two gentlemen keeps showing us how to combine casual and tailored clothing in the best possible way.
What is even better is that a large amount of products from the collection are on sale right now, which can be found here. If you enter the code FINALSALE at the checkout, you will get an extra 10% off all sale items.
