Thomas Mason Spring Summer 2015

Thomas Mason is one of the top Italian mills for dress shirt fabrics and are well known for their quality fabrics. The company itself started in England but was purchased by the Italian Albini Group in 1992. Today the production is based in Italy but Thomas Mason still maintains it’s English brand choosing styles and patterns of their fabrics that reflect the British heritage.

Thomas Mason fabrics are some of the best in the world such as the Giza 45 cotton that’s known to be one of the finest cotton available to date.

I was honored to have the new accessories collection presented to me by Thomas Mason’s marketing and communication specialist Gabrielle Camozzi. The collection includes handmade ties, handkerchiefs and bow ties with fabrics from their famous shirt collections. The main focus with the project is to provide contemporary accessories with a splash of color with one of the finest fabrics available from the company. Thomas Mason divided the collection into four parts, Regatta, Eccentricity, Casual Luxury and Ceremonial.

Hand-rolled pocket squares in the luxurious Ginza 45 cotton.

Both ties and bow-ties are is featured in the collection.

Classic 3-fold construction.

Regatta, a single or a series of boat races originally from England. Here’s focus on the so called preppy lifestyle with a lot eccentric colors and patterns.

Eccentricity, the person who prefer colors and patterns over anything else. Again it’s a lot about colors and how to match and mismatch them in every way possible.

Casual Luxury, a taste of classic colors and patterns but with a twist. For the person who like classic menswear but that would like to take some steps to something more playful.

Ceremonial, it’s all about the tailored suits and the dinner parties. Black and white, the colors that always will represents the true gentleman.
